People make complaints and ask questions frequently, most persons go online to find things that could make them happy. Ladies especially always have mood swings. We are happy now, the next minute we become sad. Mood swing doesn’t actually last for days or weeks but for a few hours for most persons tho. These 9 things has really helped me alot through my bad days.
I keep a box full of memories. After any happy moment, I put it into writing no matter how awkward it is. I also keep an archived of photos of short videos of happy moments. Whenever I’m sad I go to that box, and read the notes simultaneously and view the photos and videos in my memory archives.
Each note reminds me of those moments. It could be your first kiss from your crush, how you first met, outings with friends e.t.c
DO THAT THING YOU ENJOY DOING.
That which you do for fun also helps kill sadness. I write, and paint especially for fun. What you do for fun could be dancing, skipping as much as you enjoy doing it and it makes you happy, go for it.
GO SWIMMING / RELAX IN A BATH TUB.
Relaxing in water clears one’s head and makes one happy. The cold/ warm sensation especially with friends. Whenever you feel sad, drag yourself to the pool or the beach side. Water helps relaxation and brings a feeling of happiness.
CLEAR YOUR LIST.
This psychologically affects everyone, when we leave our task undone, most times it ends one in depression. You begin to procrastinate, the more you procrastinate the more depressed you feel. And guess what, you end up not knowing what is wrong with you. This also leads to mood swing . Procrastinate Procrastination and get your task done. And you feel that happiness well up on the inside of you , you feel so free and you can do anything you wish.
OUTING TO UNWIND.
GO outing to unwind either with friends or alone. Most times the cause of unhappiness could be as a result of stress and overload. It could be a get together, discuss your past, make confessions. Unhappiness could also be as a result of lack of openness, that secret keeps eating you up gradually and silently. There’s this beauty in music that calms ones state of mind and makes one lively. Hip- Hop music particularly. It may not really make you happy but it makes you lively.
There’s this excitement in road trips, especially an unplanned trip with a lover, friend e.t.c It is a lot of fun, It kills unhappiness fast. It also helps people catch up on their past and also a best way to get to know people.
Vacations, festivals, feasts, carnivals, spur up one’s liveliness. It builds memories especially vacation to places you’ve never visited. The fun of Vacations, festival, carnivals makes one happy and builds memories.
There are several things that could makes one unhappy and the root cause could be one’s self . Low-self esteem makes one unhappy. You don’t like you, you want to be someone else. If only you can love you and understand you then it would be easy to deal with unhappiness. The fact that we can’t push ourselves to get things done also affects our mood psychologically. Accept you, love you, drive you. With YOU, YOUR SELF and YOU, you can make you happy.
